Hmmm, that website is not entirely accurate.

In all towns and cities, ALL side roads from the right have priority unless otherwise indicated. If you come to a junction with no signs and no road markings, you give way to traffic coming from the right, even if you are on what looks like a main road and these are small side roads. However, if the side roads have either a stop or give-way sign, and the relevant solid or broken line painted on the road, then they do not have priority and must give way to you.

Outside of town, as mentioned in that site, a yellow diamond means a priority road and a yellow diamond with a slash through it means non-priority. HOWEVER, it is still feasable to come accross non priority junctions on a road marked with a diamond. Before each junction there will be a triangular sign with a red border. If it contains a black arrow going straight on with smaller roads joining from the sides, then you have priority, however, if it contains a black X, which isnt shown on that site, then you DO NOT have priority at the upcoming junction.

I don't think two blondes is a mandatory requirement to drive in Europe is it, Taff?

Yes but watch the movie and you'll then agree that it really should be: -

Or at least you'd want them as passengers anyway.

Wow, what a response, thanks guys.

Fine on most of this stuff. Tips on beam converters are especially appreciated, kind of knew i'd need them, but accurate instructions are a big help. High vis jacket already lives in the rear pockets, warning triangle is being filched out of my dad's boot, and i've been reading up on all the road reg's.
So I just need to start buying bulbs :o
