well it'll probably "run" it, it is just a case of how well

your sub has a rated (continuous) power handling of 1200W RMS, but it is also 4 ohm single voice coil. This means when you connect it to the amp it will see a 4 ohm load and at that impedence has a rated output of only 320W RMS, roughly 1/4 of the subs ideal input. A few more manufacturers seem to be adding that 'minimum' input power, which Vibe recommends at least 600W RMS on that particular sub.

Think of it as trying to drive a 5 tonne truck with a 1000cc engine in it, it'll run, but nowhere near as well as if it had a more appropriate sized engine powering it

hope this helps

another victim of 'theloudest.com's *cow poo* amplifiers! if you want to stick with 'theloudest.com' amplifiers, then you'll need their 8000W version!!! (2kw into 4ohm)
Pity, i've just sold an unused JBL BPX2200.1 for £400 that would have been more than enough. i've had a quick look...here's the sort of amp you should be looking for...

http://www.bassjunki...o/jbl-gto14001e - JBL 1200Wrms @ 4ohm £325

http://www.bassjunki...o/jbl-bpx1100-1 - JBL 1100Wrms @ 4ohm, pricey @ £699

http://www.bassjunki...stealth-amp-1-8 - 2000W, but not sure if it's an RMS figure £220

http://www.bassjunki...nch-pzi-3000-1d - 750Wrms...lowest of the bunch, but will work £280

personally i'd save up for £325 JBL (if you're gonna keep the VIBE 15") and dump the 'theloudest.com's amp on ebay! You may find these amps cheaper on ebay, Amazon etc

PS: make sure your cabling, alternator etc are up to the job

The best amp to power that sub is the matching space vibe amplifier, Vibe try and make it nice and easy by putting packages together that work together, e.g. Slick, BlackAir, Space etc.

Yes the matching amplifier for that sub is £500 ish (you should power the sub with the mono), but then you have chosen the level 4 subwoofer... so you can't complain about price at the end of the day. Remember its the amp that will make your sub work at its full potential, without a suitable amp you may as well buy a cheaper sub

If your at all worried about choosing the correct amp/sub combo just ring/email vibe, they will help you out, always nice and friendly.
