well then....

today, the welding has come to an end.

no more patching, all the holes have gone, and the flippy is complete.

plans for tomorrow,
smooth out scuttle
get hinges ready to go onto the car
put shocks back on front
sort out the solinoid
put new wiper stalk in

thats all i can think of at the moment
currently in a fair bit of pain, so thinking isnt my top priority

been working on him all day today

replaced the solinoid
fitted the shocks
smoothed out the scuttle, drivers door, and above the arch on the drivers side

made some spacers for the drivers door
tried fitting it, but i ran out of light, and the bloody thing wouldnt go on!!, catching on the A panel.. so ill do that tomorrow.

car wouldnt start, so i might try and figure out why, theres somthing wrong with the fuel system, not getting petrol to the carb.

no pictures today.. couldnt be bothered

hmmm.... well, looks like interested has slowed right down on this.. but anyhow...

update

today, started as soon as i woke up.

got the drivers side door hung, not happy with it though, i think the A panel is in the wrong place.. ill jiggle it at the weekend...

got the hinges put in place, i went through 3 drill bits doing it though.. drilling through welds... NOT GOOD!!

and, i found a sodding dent in the new wings!!..

well........ been a busy little bee today.. Azza turned up, and we got striaght on with him

put in the interior, and the new carpet.. took us over an hour to fit the carpet!!!.. it was funny though, sliced my fingures serveral times, and did the same to azza.

then, i started playing with the fueling system.. what a pain in the rear end that is!!.. silly little pipe, impossible to get hold of.. anyway, finaly got it off, and attached a longer pipe, blow up it, and sucked it.. hurray!! petrol getting to the carb...

then


BANG...BANG..BANG.. BANG BANG BANG... LIFE!!!!

sooo, messed about with the carb for ages.. got it to tick over, ish... but im having a problem with the revs... the car will tick over.. then the revs go right up... even though im not on the pedal..
might be because there isnt a full length exhuast on him, i duno, ill figure it out
