Didnt do the MOT due to the car not running right.

So I have re-booked, and i have sorted out the problem.

Wasnt charged for the time

MOT on wednesday at 11am

Went to newark today, and got my self a new carb......

what was the problem with the loss of 2 cylinders?

that carb looks sweet, will that go on after the MOT?
beer will be faster than effy at this rate.
will you be declaring it?

They were flooding.

So i put a different needle in the carb (su) and replaced the spark plug that had been brokered (sorry i like that word) and hey presto, working,

But the carb is still nackered, so I am going to replace it after the MOT, with the weber.. needs a bloody good service though.

i still need to know your secret behind the cheap insurance,

i fixed effy this morning with a new bolt fastened straight through the whole lot with nylock nuts on there, not coming apart now unless i want it to

HAHA... that was sh*t scarey!!

hmm.. a "drive" ill have to be carefull, because my carb is tempermental! lol TO THE TUNNEL!!

ive got quite a problem since putting the filter back on, when i go to accelerate hard shes bogging down, its awful

think its time to change the rest of the ht leads

just thought it might be oil needed in the dashpot, it did have to come off on the side of the motorway, wonder if it got a bit dry

she does it when its cold and not up to temperature, but apparently you can get a flat spot with cone filters, so i think i might of just been lucky before by not having one

UPDATE

Just gone to adjust my brakes, and have a look over everything with my dad.... took the drum off the drivers side and the bottom shoe fell apart!!

NOT GOOD..

so, got some new ones on there way, should be here for 4 pm.
