took off the remaining parts of the vents (with a hammer) to find that there is a little more rust then i first thought.
also, iv took the rear bumper off, and yet again, rust!!
erm... oh took the back box off, then fired him up.....

took out the Smiths, including the oil pressure guage, forgot i have done this when i fired him up, luckly only a tiny bit of oil came into the car.
a little concerned however, about the scuttle, looking up at them from the holes, they look a little curroded...
ill let the pictures do the talking!
im going to go and pick up the new heads on the 17th!!
quite happy with what i have got done today, i know its not much, but hey...

. why mess about undoing all the screws on the vents when you have a hammer eh ?
haha my thougts exactly... the srews werent coming out anyway.. so i had to hit them!!

the rust can be sorted soon... now i know what needs doing i can get on with it

I welded my air vents up as I took my heater out - well didnt take it out, couldnt fit it back in with the massive turbo box I had made myself
