Right.. not much interest it would seem..

anyway.

Got the seat belts fitted fully
also, re-carpeted the front, because the previous atempt was shocking!
carpeted the boot a little too

put the rubber edging along the A panels (thanks to Adam for that)

However.. im slightly concerned of the amount smoke coming out the back.. and the smell, i think he is running rich, but if i run him any leaner he cuts out...
could be because he is cold.. and not been run properly for 3 months.. not sure though

anyway, thats the update for today

i have to bleed the brakes, re-wire the head lights,now i have a soldering gun, and wire up the horn

then MOT time

well today, i got the dash board made up... 2 peices of ply board and some carpet, looks good.
got the power point (fag lighter) wired up, lights up when the lights come on
thats it for today, ran out of light and warmth lol

going to do the lights again tomorrow, and get the horn working.

and i hope dad will bleed the brakes, not sure how to do it

Right, I think a full update is required, with pictures now

As you have probably just read, I have had to re-build make brakes, due to seals been blown. In the re-build I had to replace the split pipes on the front with new ones that I had made

I have also made a new dash board and wired in a cigy lighter, I havnt got pictures of that just yet though.

While the car has been off the road I have had a lot of time to think about the look of the car, you may have read in the projet page several ideas. But the one i am sticking with is the first idea I came up with when i first bought the car, just slighty changed, this idea is a Miglia road racer, in black. To get this look i need new wheels, 10x6. So using my old wheels a few days ago I figured out how wide the car will be.. the answer BLOODY WIDE!! haha.
I did this by turning the wheels around and putting them back on, I havnt left them like this because thats just silly

One more thing before pictures, my parents have bought me a full roll cage

its been a while sinse i looked at this, youve come a long way,
whens the mot then? and where are you taking it?
try n book it in far away from home so you can get the car lovely and warm and kick all the crap out first

i take mine to jocks at the top of white rose way, as we know him anyway. he has a lovely marcos racer which my sister crashed lol

you interested in joining a club next year? were starting one up. that is, if people stop trying to sell their minis

Hi Adam, yeah not long now, I intend on having him MOTed this week, just got the brakes and horn to do.

I take him to a local garage in Rossington, my dad knows the guy
Im going to take him the long way round to the garage, up my road out on to Bawtry road, past the pub on the traffic lights and back into Rossington should be long enough to clear him out.. problem is though, i cant drive through the village becase of the speed bumps and my car being so low lol

Yhea, sure, ill join up.. could do with meeting more mini owners. even if its for a chat lol.

He sure is.. going to be tuning the "breasts" off him soon haha.
