The carbs the reason why mine wont start :), float chamber floods and the carb just puffs smoke a couple of times and dies :gimme:

Hi
just read this thread through from the beginning, really excellent work, just one word of caution, I dont know if you are aware but not all primers are waterproof, some are porous which means you could end up back at the beginnig with the rust issues, I dont want to put the dampners on an excellent project, but also dont want to see all this hard work go to waste
Keep up the good woork

Cheers

Andy

Well, doesnt it come together fast when you put your mind to it

i now have the front end wired up, just got to jiggle something on the passenger side headlight, as i aint getting dipped, but i am getting side lights, and full beam, think it could be my wiring, or the bulb.. lol

just got to sort the brakes, and make the flippy secure now

with the way things are going at the moment though, that could be 5 months :/

oooooook!!!

put everything back into the front end, wired it up, looks really good!!

however, one of the lights isnt giving my dipped beam, but im getting sidelights, and main beam, this is really confussing, because all the wires are ok, everything is how it was before, but still nothing.. hmmm..

got the indicators on and wired up, there really nice!!

also got the mixture set, its really low, but still a little rich... ah well!!

aaand got the front reg plate on, i havnt drilled the holes on the proper place, because the blots i use for the old plate are HUGE!! lol so its just attached to the bottom corner of my grill.

plans for tomorrow, if the weather is ok, have yet another look at the light electrics, and have a look at the brakes, see what i have broken.. im betting its at least one seel on the drivers side.. ill let you all know.
