Cheers it was a very nice day but it also shows up all of the little imperfections. As long as the removal men don't dink him he will get a very thorough buffing up but its good thing there is not much left in the way of colour sanding to do.

Yours is quite shiny too Jagman coming along very nicely.

2000 wet and dry using plenty of soapy water (car soap) then mopping back with Scholl Concepts S17+, two passes with this using a electric mop on low speed, buffing up between using a micro fibre cloth. The pad is a Perfect-it III 150mm yellow pad.

Thank you:),the wheels are mini special(exaction) wheels which where then split by force racing to make them split rims.It costs about £300 for force racing to split them plus the cost of the donor rims.

We are hoping next year once the moving debacle is over and done with he may get some more work done on. I really need to get Paddy sorted for the show season next year, not showing him just want to be able to drive him to a few shows.

No updates i'm afraid. Erm is in storage until next week when he gets delivered to our new house. Then as Scott is on his Apprenticeship the odd thing will be done to him but nothing major now as money is tight. Once Scott has had a pay rise and bought a newer car than his Corsa he may start to lavish some cash on him.

In the mean while i will finish flatting back and de nibbing his paintwork. The colour is really nice and it will be a shame if we have to fit a carbon roof as finding some decent spares for the sunroof is not easy. However if he goes carbon the roof may get painted again anyway.

Thankyou, it does look good but there is now a problem with the paint. There is a small circle of primer showing through on the l/h rear quarter which is really weird seeing as i have barely touched that side. The rear panel was as flat as you like with nothing at all showing up on the prep and flatting back before paint. Not happy campers so i will have to find another garage to see if they can sort it out.

Very strange to say the least. Once we have got the garage sorted out we will start to build up the engine and see about getting the powder coated subframes stripped and then painted instead. Bit of a pain really after all of that work but such is life.

Sorry to hear of the problem Neil, has it appeared all on it's own or have you polished that section harder than you think ??

Paint looming here if I can get Matt off his dying arse to scrub the old paint off !! Not looking forward to it at all as even pro jobs have problems !

Best of luck with it.

Graham
