Looks brilliant, that drop bracket looks like the steering column will be low? what seats are you going to have?

Matt

That's a bit of a mystery at the moment, Scott has got a few seats in mind but until the finances improve they are well on the back burner.

loving that drop bracket buddy!

where abouts you get that? im thinking of getting the black one from mondo sport, looks like the same type

great finish on everything, very laaarvely!

One of the lads here on the forum got a batch made and they are very nice in Stainless steel. Unfortunately due to the change in the forum i cannot find my old PM's so could not tell you who i got it off.

This might be of some use, over on TM.

I love this topic, not responded yet but have been keeping a close look for a long time. Very jealous I don't have to money to do something like this myself. Can't wait just to see more progress. Keep it going (Y)

No sorry we had nothing to do with those as Scott bought the wheels off a mate and his Dad got the centers made.

I will be getting a set made for the split rims we have on Erm now just need to get all of the measurements done and price them up.

Just wondering how you got the ignition key barrel off the steering column so you could clean it up and paint it? Started to strip mine and it looks like the bolts had snap off heads on them so can't get them undone...

they are security bolts, i think and the heads snap off at a certain torque. Drill them out.

Still doing what i normally do Graham but now can moderate posts etc and thats about it in the grand scheme thing. No problem about answering the question mate. Erm has come to a shuddering halt now due to Scott starting his apprenticeship so i will try and do the odd bit here and there.

I got a little fed up with dong nothing to Erm so seeing as it was a cracking day and i was waiting for the new paint on Paddy to dry i decided to do some more flatting and polishing, all in all very pleased with the results so far.

Scott came home this weekend to give me a hand to fit Erm's r/h door his bonnet and boot. The door and bonnet fitted well but the boot lid we only slaved in due to the hinges needing to be modified and painted.

The only fly in the ointment is the reaction or something that has happened to the bonnet ridge at the back of it. It almost looks like rust but its not so something has happened to the paint. BUGGER!!

Anyway its not going back to the paint shop we had him painted in, instead i will take him somewhere different when we have moved down sarf!! I have had enough of the paint to last me for a long time now.
