Well thankfully the rain held off at Himley today apart from at the start.Nice to meet a few people too for a quick chat.Picked up a few bits and bobs whilst we were there. Also had a chat with Ashley James interiors about getting some custom carbon/fabric door cards done in the future. Some very shiny cars there and yet more inspiration of what to have for the final look of the car. :P

Got these to wrap the mini special wheels once they have finished there transformation.£45 each which I thought was a bargain.

Got another diff crown wheel and pinion as I wanted a gear ratio of 3.44.Door handles in the bag on the bottom right and some ignition leads for Paddy.

Posted Image

Some more DSN classic billet bits :)

Posted Image

Was only right to have the key ring too seeing as I have bought almost everything else billet from then :)

Posted Image

Got this synchro bearing setting tool off guessworks to make putting it all together that little bit easier.

Posted Image

Also whilst we was away my mum went to machine mart vat free day to get this jack for my dad to use on ERM/Paddy

Probably not much happening car wise this week as we are both busy but hopefully next week the ball should be rolling again :P

Nice haul! Great to meet you guys today. I came away with nothing more than 2 catalogues in a carrier bag and a full memory card of photos of minis! My mind was a bit blown by the huge amount of stuff on offer. I'll definitely be back next year with a long shopping list, and then maybe a few years after than in a working mini

Likewise Rich it was nice to meet you, it can all be a bit daunting the first time but i would recommend doing a list so at least then you can be a bit more methodical. Scott i have to say is good with his lists, i'm just the carry boy and extra cash when needed.

It would be nice for all of us to get our projects on the road and meet up to compare notes so to speak.

Some nice stuff there!

Where abouts are you in Peterborough? I'm only in Ramsey, and i'm aaaalways in 'boro getting parts from Millfields, but i've never seen Paddy about. I drive a blue mini with a black front end and a boot, white roof and arches.. Edit: Haha, doesn't really count as a blue mini anymore.

Paddy's looking good too, that's been a well looked after mini!

Cheers, Paul.

Well the wheels are back from their make over.Bit of a strange make over as they are now fatter but that's fine by me :)

Just need to get them cleaned up and painted/powder coated.

The fronts will be done tomorrow then Lacquered. Once that's been done the new machined rims will get some treatment as well.

Wheels look great. Are these the force racing 2 piece wheel conversions? Do you have to run inner tubes with these?
