How Long Is It? 109 Inches

right this is pretty stupid but im being told a million differnt things on how many inches there are in a foot

my landrover is a series 3 109" im assuming it meens its 109 inches long? how long is it in feet?

im no good at maths and dont know which sum to use with a calculator !

109 inch = 9.0833333333 feet

according to google>inch to feet converter>search :(

When written as 109" it does mean 109 inches, as 12 inches make a foot, 109 inches = 9 feet 1 inch (9'1")

don't they teach anything at school nowadays?


Young un's don't deal in proper numbers these days, its all metric :(

i could do with an imperial socket set lol im sick of looking for 1/2 inch spanners ;D

I'd assume that the 109" of the landrover is the wheel base, not its length

edit: for an eg Mini length is approx 120" with a approx wheelbase of 80"

ahh thats what it is ! i think your probably right but it dosent seem to have that much overhang past the front and rear wheels? tho it is massive?

you have different landrovers with numbers (80,88,90,101,109,110) so im assuming theese are the wheelbases?

theese pics might help if someone can help me find out the full lenth?( from longest points on the body)(just a guide it dosent have to be exact)

according to that they changed in 1982 to cloth seats

i think mine has viynal(sorry cant spell) or leather? it has a weird rough feel to it?
