Ebay, £30 for 2 recons, ive just checked he has no more, the carriers i got from the scrap yard with calipers which was no good, the hardest part to find was
the caliper anti rattle springs, i got them from a second hand ford parts place.

Can't you buy rebuild kits for the calipers? I've looked for calipers and they're getting hard to track down...

well from the 37page long thread on this conversion before
apparently theres a site that sell hoses made up already with the correct fittings to go onto the fiesta caliper and the correct fittings for the mini end of them..so may go down the route of getting them

Heres a link to some hoses already made up http://shop.instant-...tno1090649.html
Jordie can you tell us if these require the calipers machining or will they fit straight on.

They dont sell those hoses anymore :/

Is there a difference between mk1 and mk2 fiesta calipers? Iv been donated a pair of good mk1 calipers, can they be used?

The machining of the caliper hose fitting sounds like "spot facing", something you could do with just a pillar drill and a spot face cutter or counterbore.

A 3/8 & 10mm banjo ought to be close enough for the bolts to be interchangeable - they must match the thread in the caliper, of course!

Motor bikes use banjo fittings & you can get banjos for solid pipe that could be used to adapt a standard hose; I liberated some off an style Skoda.

O right. What are the differences? Can i just machine everything as per the mk2 calipers, or are there some more complex differences?
