If you want to run those types of wheels then VW`s run the same pcd as minis may be easier and cheaper to get hold of. My friend fitted my old 7x13 wellers to his golf.

VW and Mini do NOT share the same PCD. They might fit but they are not the same.

Sorry, Mini is 101.6mm and golf is 100mm this leaves you with a 0.8mm either side off center

And a side load on the studs which could lead to failure.

i dont see why you would want 15" + wheels on a mini... the proportions look completely off... the handling would be compromised... were you planing on keeping an A series engine?

I agree with the proportion - not so much with the handling. If done right, it handels better than any Mini will ever do. But that needs much much brain grease, $$$, time, skills and effort.

I had a ride in that beast - it's stuning how good it works! Realy superb... As far as I know Rover 114 suspension parts play a role there...

However: in the end I totaly agree with you! >_< If you just bolt 15" wheels onto a Mini it will neither work nor look pretty. And I doubt the person who's asking (NO offense by any means!!) will afford such radikal modifications to make it work well. If it's for a show car - go on. Each to theyr own

It would be a unique, if not very rare modification, but It'll mean upgrading the suspension to cope, as well as upgrading the engine, because with wheels 3" bigger the performance decrease will be noticeable. It works on the Mini in the video because of that Vtec egine. Nice video by the way, reminds me of that Top Gear episode where they competed against their German counterparts :D

this body kit is quite subtle, you could probably blend it in witrh bigger arches:

also i think there are more intresting wheel choices for 10" rims (ive got some 10x5j weller 4 spokes) bloke called asphalt on here has a wheel list i belive.

edit: http://www.mini-mayf...net/felgen.html there is the link

Oh, wow! Thats the very first bodykit I like! Got any more infos on that!?? :D
