yep thats the one rusty.
that kit should fit fine..only other thing i would add to that would be a k and n cone filter instead of using the original filter housing with the filter supplied in that kit
would also budget for a rolling road session to get it setup properly

Get the minispares stage one kit, reason being they put the Maniflow Cooper Freeflow Manifold in the kit, everyone else puts an LCB in the kits, dont get an LCB manifold for a 998

..still the same question..
..isnt the search button working??
Stage 1 kit inlet is the same for both 998 and 1275 angines. Its internal size is 44mm.
Cooper freeflow fits both engines and its easier to fit, its reccomended for small bores and standard non cooper 1275s.
Some Lcb's dont fit 998 because of clearance issues.
Lcb manifolds on small bore engines are used only in higher stages of tune and require a bit of trimming on the inlets flanges to be fitted, so dont bother with your car.
Get a proper RC40 or a maniflow exhaust.
Needle range is AAU, AAV, AAA, AAM.
Start up setting for timing is 8° at 1500 rpm with vacuum disconnected or 5° at 1000 rpm vac disconn.
But what is more important, do a very good servicing to your car before fitting the kit (spark plugs, Ht leads, points, condenser, oil change, tappet clearance..).
