you can get rear anto roll bars, which go underneath the subframe i think.

i will look though my history for last couple of weeks i have seen one somehwere !

Lewis what stonechip do you use?

i just used what i could find at the local car spares place, think it was made by by the same company that makes the black underseal called shultz? but went for grey stonechip, u can get white also, but as i was paintin mine i just went for grey (and yeah i did the door steps and up the door hinge panel, just give it another protective layer, but sanded it slightly as it was a little rough)

good progress though on the rebuild! any more pictures?

Quick update, managed to finally decide where i need to relocate the remote gearchange box and its not coming inside the cab but going to be 2 inch higher by changing the rubber mounts and about 3 inch rearward i will just need to make an adjuster (Thanks to Rosco454)

decided on my dash layout cant wait to start on that now woooo i have my speedometer and rev counter going for a more traditional dial set now with smiths instead of more modern dials, i will have to sort out some photos nearly nearly ready to start prepping need a drivers door and mk1 boot still tho!! grrrr

oo and also come up with a removable sound system more on that when i start that little project

Bought my paint gear woooooooooo pictures to come havent started yet, still lots to do 1st! fireproofed the rear bulkhead tho

finished internal seam sealing, hoping to get back in the garage this weekend coming, also got some fiberglass doors but need alot of work!!!!! eek

Waxoil this stuff really is horrible but works, trying to decide what to do with this regarding my project, was tempted to stone chip the underneath and waxoyl in my sills and subframe front box section also under scuttles. any opinions? as i dont want a slimy underside.

quick update not photos at min waiting for camera, got alot done on my new doors fitted new runners as old ones bent the doors and were wood so reinforced the skins door handle area and where i will be fitting external hindges and waterproofed the runners, started to referb the perspex due to scratches aswell. trimmed my dash for dials and fiberglassed the glove box wont be needing that looking forward to wieghing the doors once finished for total wight including locks windows etc! will be much lighter than std ones

Not had much time in the workshop as works been flat out but hoping to get in there tommorrow now have mk1 boot wooooo needs a lot of love tho, will get some pictures up now my cameras sorted, managed to hang the doors all on external hindges just need to fabricate some reinforcement brackets for the a-panels, few little bits of welding cosmetics to do once i have fixed my welder doh another job on the list! but moving in the right direction spyII you may have to wait till for pictures of the dash top secret

Todays the first steps in painting a major stage to get too im so happy, anyway
p400 wet & dry boot and interior of mini and then sprayed barcote (transparent 2k sealer) sprayed into boot and interior, ready for primer.

Managed to get some primer on as this needs to be applied within 24Hrs of the sealer

Will get tommorrow morning in the workshop so will try and get her back on the spit so i can make a start on prepping the underside, need to cut the front arches to stop any possible rubbing on full lock etc
