very nice indeed :proud: i am in progress of rebuilding my mini i have a few questions if you dont mind. how did you fit the mk1 rear light plates as i have the plates but they need to be bang on level any measurements or tips? and how many cans off stone chip did you use for the underneath? as this is my next stage many thanks tom

Wow great response thanks everyone :D tom will try dig out some of my old info when i fitted them ;) think.... i used one bottle and think i have one left over! will also check and if your interested in it pm message me.

flat out at work at the mo as its the build season coming up to the launch this week so not much free time! or energy to do it lol

managed to get in the garage fpr few hours this week :) finished the front subframe off fitted to mini alse fitted discs and calipers, few more wiring bits fitted bonnet pull, brake bias, handbrake + more slowly getting there now have my tyres just need to get them on the rims photos to come :)

more bits done really want to get on with the engine, get so little time out there its tough to fit it all in! not your standard rebuild :D fire puu and elctrical cut off pull fitted, more wiring....... few bits on dash done waiting on a few dials, sorted reverse light, battery cut off and wiring lots of niggling jobs done orded a load of parts im missing, need to get my tyres on my rims too :)

Right quick update not been in garage for what feels like months but some pics ive taken between my last updates hoping to get my engine back from machine shop next week gearbox has been stripped replaced parts and rebuilt minis rolling now :D

Thanks Leigh, getting there still so much to do!! all fuel system, brakes, engine plus installation, sort intercooler then suspension setup and wheelarches looking forward to getting some time in there! waiting on engine block and all parts to be balanced. :)

wow progress on my mini haven't updated for a while! rebuild the engine, new pistons, new cam, oil pump, duplex timing, high lift rockers dry decked cooling flowed head, flowed turbo elbow, larger bore full exhaust system, gizmo boost controller, had her running for the first time last week, big step to the finished project still lots to do but can see the light at the end of the tunnel now! next step is get her timing done...

Hay Pickering i bought mine off of ebay not sure about carbon, http://www.ebay.co.u...=item1e731e8e30 dont think it was that seller but thats the design
