Brilliant work! Just read the whole thread. To do it all yourself takes some effort! Im doing almost everything myself.....got my bodyshop guy to weld it and he will be painting it too but Ive been out lending a hand/doing donkey work as much as I can. Saved me £££s!

Look forward to the final piece!

Got a lot of love for this and enjoy your motorsport background too. Can't wait to see it finished and at a race track sometime no doubt...

Lovely build mate, gonna be a beaut when it's done. Very well done.

What's the thing on the rear parcel shelf on your last pic? (I'm assuming it's on the parcel shelf).

Cheers
Chris

Wow some really great work and excellent paint work. If you don't mind me asking where did you get your panels from and were they Heritage items? Also how difficult was it to put mk1/2 external hinges on as i am hoping to attempt this at some point, but don't really know how to mark them up so that i drill the holes in the correct places (maybe use the gaskets as templates), or the heights to mount them.

Evan.

Thanks analogue_radio and davej :)
1977 Loud_mini i used hights to mount extenal hindges i have fibeglass doors so they weigh next to nothing it would have been much harded mounting to std doors due to weight, you can buy the correct a panels for the hindges if you want to go that route ;) heritage panales are far superior but always need a tiny tweak hear and there, i will dig out the measurements for you ;)
