1. Take off front flares
2. work out height of whiskers
3. rivet clips to body (tip I put a washer behind the clip so that they were not so hard up against the body)
4. spray silicone spray on clips, body and whiskers
5. slide whiskers on, over the end of the grill surround
Next.... mount the overriders and nudge bars
by the way.... I am surprised how light the stainless bumpers are, much less weight than the old chrome ones, and a good finish (so far)

Also... fitted chrome trims to the top of door frames. Passengers side is from a Riley Elf, fits pretty well. Drivers side is a new one from Minispares (only had one left), but it didnt fit so well. I think I might have to remove some of the rivets and re-do them, or add some panel adhesive (or both) but they do look good.
That is the outside of the car finished (apart from a sump guard).

I was thinking they had the rear screen out of a paul smith and didn't remove the sticker. Thanks - I am enjoying sorting it out.
I doubt it is a Paul Smith, I think they were white or Blue, it is probably just a sticker they had.
Cheers
Nice mini man.
This is true. BUT. Their it also has the green rocker cover. In England it was only available in purple (as far as im aware) but not sure about the colours in japan. It might have been re-sprayed while over in Japan. Anyway im sure that it properly is a PS but their just isn't much of it left now.

Anyway... as you said, too much gone now (colour, interior, wheels, etc etc ) and I like it much better as a Mk1 lookalike.
Maybe to keep the theme alive I might paint the fuel tank green one day.

Love it
What exhaust is that? How loud is it?
Very nice mini you have there, nudge bars and overriders on a mk1 front and back look awesome!
Any other nice bits due to arrive? But must say I think you have the look spot on as it is

The exhaust is from Japan, so I am not sure what it is, the muffler and rear section are stainless. it is loud outside the car, but... within the rules, and pretty good inside. It has a single cannon style muffler under the boot floor. I am going to have to cut and reweld it slightly to stop it puffing on the overrider. The rear exit pipe is fatter than the entry.
I am in the process of putting the carpets in today, after sealing the front windscreen yesterday, and I put some Special Tuning emblems on last night.... will get some photos.
There isnt much left to do other than a new motor one day, and maybe install a heater at some stage.
