worked on mine a treat thanks mate used 1200 though 400 felt abit courseStarted repolishing the lips on the Ultralites today. Used some autosol and 400 grit wet n dry then a cloth with some more autosol to bring up the shine. Really happy with the result so far, but is going to be one mamouth job, especially on the wheels that only have a little bit of laquer damage, more laquer to remove with the wet n dry
Before...
After
Still need to polish that bit up even more with the autosol, but that will be a final polish when the rest is at that stage.
Certainly saves the £120 I was quoted for a professional to do it! Not going to relaquer the polished bit, it'll only fall off again. Just going to keep it polished

Headlining goes in...
A bit of tyre soap, a lot of patience and a bit of gentle persuasion and...
In goes the back window
And the front window...
Carbon rear numberplate holder, and numberplate...
Bonnet and both doors...
Outside...
Side windows in, and bonnet raised slightly at the rear. I know, doesn't do a lot, but does look cool
Oh, and also note the new Yoko's Didn't really think I'd leave old tyres on a car after all this effort did you!?
And now has an MOT so...
We're going to Castle Combe!!!
Slark Race Engineering on Friday for engine and suspension set up, ready for a little touch of track action...
I'm thinking get rid of front numberplate and put a sticky one on the bonnet though, would look much better in my opinion.
