Ok, I'll explain.
My new car has been named Charlie by the previous owner. Therefore, with a little shortening, I have Chas.
Chas & Dave.

Ordered a set of smoked crystal crosshair Mk2 Golf headlights which I'm hoping with alittle bit of tweaking here and there will fit.
Also bought myself a set of Ultralites off eBay, last minute find and got them for a bargain!

Would be good to have a first proper drive in it around a track though. Oh yeah, IMO it looks sexy on the Dunlops, much better and more unusal look

Dunlops? What Dunlops ? Are you on about the Ultralites or the Cosmics. Cosmics have been sold to 'Bean', Ultralites all the way!
Cosmic's, thats what i meant! Getting old in my youth....
In my defence they look similar to D1's

I'll definately let you all know how I get on with doing it though. They haven't turned up yet, seems they are coming from Germany, not London as advertised on eBay !
Never mind, aslong as they get here I don't mind.

The headlights were, to put it simply, a nightmare! I've wrecked one of the inner chrome rings, the other is fine but I've actually had to cut in to let it spread out an extra 1cm. It seems to have workde quite well, but I'll have to replace the passenger side one
Have to repolish the lip on 2 of the wheels as the laquer has peeled, but for the price I paid for them I expected that! Tyres will be being replaced.
Certainly won't see another like it!
