Oh yeah. Found myself a private plate the otherday...
MNZ 1180
MNZ= Mini (well, close...)
118= my old race number
0= Well is close to D, my name's Dan.

And all for £99! Well, in total £196, but still I'm so tempted! :techsupport:

its looking really good, i did london to brighton last year on my provisional with my dad at the side of me. we did mostly a roads all the way there and he did the small amounts of motorway stints. and thats from doncaster, 512 miles round trip. it isnt that far for you is it? would love to see the pickup in 'real life'

oh, and if you get a personal plate. dont forget to reserve yours. it will cost you every year but youll never get it back otherwise

:( Thanks! I'm sure it will, if a 16 year old can do it so can you!
My favourite saying, If you want it done properly, do it yourself. Hence why the car went back to a shell with 2 wheels on (had new rear subframe in so didnt feel the need to remove it!) and I have rebuilt it back myself so I know that everything has been done and been done to my standards!

And cheers 'Pot. How's your's getting on? Got it back yet?

Well atleast it'll get there in the end! And you get to sit in the warm through the snow, typhoons and whatever else this weird weather wants to chuck at us!

Dan :(

Coming along nicely. Gonna have to look out for this at some shows this year. Not to keen on the tail lights my self but I know my self you have to get what you can afford. Keep up the good work.

Sorry Greg, all the parts are gone! And Jon, what I'm going to do is look out for each component needed to make up the early rear lights at shows and places, the build up a collection till I can make a full set out of it. That'll be later this year though, these lights will do me for now! Definately look out for me at shows, i'll be at the majority! Dan :lol:

Was unbelievably lucky at Bingley yesterday. Managed to find a set of early style Pickup lights, complete in brand new condition! And didn't pay £208, like someone did on ebay for a set the other day. :(
