I have done before, I just for the life of me can't find it anymore.Someone should photoshop that! Think it would look smart!! :gimmie:One thing this thread proves though - there are quite a few orange Minis with black but no-one has posted a black Mini with an orange roof: dare to be different!!
Worked out why I couldn't find it, I made it on my laptop, doh.
I hope the owner of the original image doesn't mind.
It does look good, but I'm just not sure I'd be as happy with it as I would be with the orange with black.
That looks really cool - different from anything else.
Only thing is the Orange with black looks kind of factory, the black with orange roof looks a little too much like a 'show car' or 'modded car' look for some people. It depends what style you like the best.

okay okay, before someone starts shouting foul play yes it is a 10 minute photoshop jobby on my car. not great with the gold alloys, and the orange isnt quite perfect but like i said, 10 minute play about. i am liking the idea tho.

Well I done your Escort for you. I'm no PS pro though.looks good, similar to mine, but a bit lighter maybe. The black and chrome bits work well with orange. I saw a comment somewhere - looks old, but... somehow modern at the same time.
Anyone good with Photoshop like to recolour my Mini and Escort in this blue (called Shockwave)
I couldn't find a colour called Shockwave so had to go off the photo.

That is pretty much exactly what I would do and I must say it looks astounding!
Hmmmm! I really don't know.

Thanks mate - I belive it is called Vermillion Red - a factory colour. Not definate on that tho - it was painted when I got it thankfully, in Japan. A very easy project so far, just bolt things to it, it came without badges, grills, interior, mirrors etc. A nice project.
Edit - did a quick google - vermillion red mini
