Right, there have been a number of orange Minis posted now and I've picked the one I like the look of most, now I need people to help me decided between these 2 schemes:

OPTION 1:

Orange base, black roof, black arches, black wing mirrors and black wheels.

OR

OPTION 2:

Black base, orange roof, orange wing mirrors, black arches and black wheels with orange wheel nuts.

I'm going to add the poll on to this thread because I don't want to create another thread to ask which is preferred. At the end of the day, I'll make my own decision, but I'd like to see what people prefer .

I don't think this has been asked before, I've searched a few times and not found anything.

Basically, I'm torn between two colour schemes for my car:

Black with black arches, wheels and an orange roof and orange wing mirrors.

Or

Orange with black wheels, black roof, black wing mirrors and black arches.

So if anyone is willing to help I'd like to see as many pictures of orange minis as I can before I have to make a decision.

Please, i really need to make a decision here.

I am waiting for the Group 2 wide arches which will be painted black with the chrome edge.

Do you know what type of orange that is?

Thanks mate - I belive it is called Vermillion Red - a factory colour. Not definate on that tho - it was painted when I got it thankfully, in Japan. A very easy project so far, just bolt things to it, it came without badges, grills, interior, mirrors etc. A nice project.

Yeh - I love the colour - it is really different from anything else.

That car above looks good - but... I like the lowered look of my car with the big wheels rather than high up like that one. Lots of cutting of the arches to achieve it tho.

The one at the MITP looks good, but personally i prefer a solid colour orange, like cobra's mini.

I like the silver wheels myself - just coloured them in for Deathrow - but do like the black centres, have had them on a couple of cars, including the Cobra

looks good, similar to mine, but a bit lighter maybe. The black and chrome bits work well with orange. I saw a comment somewhere - looks old, but... somehow modern at the same time.

Anyone good with Photoshop like to recolour my Mini and Escort in this blue (called Shockwave)
