We all know its illegal for us to park in disabled spaces rite?
well for some reason i think this copper needs reminding of that.

Can clearly see under the car the logo for disabled. and the number they label the van.

A few years ago when my brother first bought his house there was no "cross over" (the lowered kerb in front of driveways) in front of his drive.
We used my uncles van to move his stuff and went up the kerb to park on the drive in a similar way as you describe.
Anyway, we left it on the driveway in line with the cliff of a kerb outside. He got a letter from the council a few days later stating that they believed he had been driving over a kerb and if they caught him doing it they would pursue a claim for damages against for damage to the kerb stones!
So instead of parking on his land, my brother parked in the street for 6 months causing untold traffic jams, whilst he waited for the council to pitch up and lower the kerb - at his expense I might add!

Can clearly see under the car the logo for disabled. and the number they label the van.
firstly - that van, although perhaps inconvieniently parked, is not illegally parked. That is clearly a supermarket carpark, subject to civil parking enforcement. You could show the picture to the company who owns or enforces the parking at the supermarket. (but I very much doubt they'll be interested!)
secondly - have you thought why the van might be parked there? is it because some lazy cop wanted to go for his sandwiches (or donuts) and couldn't be bothered to walk the slightly longer distance to the shop? or is it that the cop was answering a call to the supermarket, where some junky shoplifter was fighting with security/shop staff, so they just parked in the nearest available space to the entrance?
anyway...it's up to you whether you report it to the local cop shop or not!

Is that a disabled space or a loathsome parents bay?
