I agree that oil hose is way too close i might have got away with it using the bike manifold but not with this 4-2-1
Pirtek can supply hose end fittings to suit the 'busa engine , i will have a new hose made to allow a much better route
Thanks for your advice about heat, its difficult to imagine how hot its going to be i am going to run a full hight bulkhead so hopefully there will be a bit more air around the engine compared to a "parcel shelf" bulkhead that would be fitted to a saloon.
The seat bracket design is coming along just need to cut some metal to see if its going to work
Today i will be inspecting the rear trailing arm mounting tabs as i know there are some problems lurking pics later to share........

I have another problem on this side of the car the outer pair of tabs are welded out of position meaning the rose joints on the trialling arm have to be adjusted like this to get the arm square , i am hoping this wont matter too much, i suppose i will find out when it comes to suspension set-up time
The arm and tabs and spacers on other side of the frame seem to fit better

How am i getting on? well it feels like i am going backwards at times
My Z-Cars frame is quite old, and the quality of some of the parts leaves a lot to be desired, and as an engineer (and a bit of a perfectionist) it has to to be right!
I sincerely hope you don't have similar problems with your new kit...........
Keep up the good work, i am watching ;)
