Mmm ... Duesenberg ... I think the one above is a replica of a 1935 Auburn 851 Speedster (I read the label)
but if you want to Google Duesenberg you'll see some lovely things, from this

So Duesenberg is an adjective that means curvaceous, sensual and expensive? If that's the case, than I am feeling more than a little bit Duesenberg today. :dontgetit:

Aye. It was. Spent the whole weekend in Capel.
The following day was Capel Music Festival, organised by a good friend of mine, so we were helping out. Mr Juju was manning the VIP area (Ha! a 10 and a half stone bouncer!! :) ) and I was running the merchandise stall. Some cracking bands played & a good time was had by all. :dontgetit:

Excellent pics!! That little yellow Austin was there last year too. He's sooooo sweet. :)

I'm glad you enjoyed yourselves. The owls were hypnotic. :dontgetit:

Sorry our paths didn't cross, Mr G.

Yes, Matilda is a standard Rover colour. Anthracite. LQW.

I always assumed Anthracite was a simple gray but Matilda has a definite hint of blue, very nice. Thanks for telling us about the show, my offspring and I really enjoyed it.

Sorry our paths didn't cross, Mr G.

Actually they probably crossed frequently, just not at the same time.

Next chance at Denbies. Less people, no owls. :dontgetit:

Ahhh! Thereis more than one Anthracite. This is MG Rover anthracite. I love the colour, actually. Under artificial light, it is indigo, in direct sunlight, it's aubergine, and in normal UK "sun"light, it's metallic blue-black.

Oww. I like the owls. :dontgetit: Have you seen James May's Lego House there yet? I haven't. I don't believe it exists.

Did they let any of them new 500's in to sit next to the old ones??? :w00t:

It happens only at the mini meets..
Anyway, apart from the 500s, some great motors there!

Have you seen James May's Lego House there yet? I haven't. I don't believe it exists.

I had an email from the production company telling me to queue for tickets on the Saturday morning. However, SolarA jogged past at 8:00 and said the queue was 5 people wide and circled the house, at which point I gave up any hope of acquiring tickets to help build the thing. I believe it's in there and I cycled past this morning but this was long before they open for business. Guess we'll just have to wait for the programme.
