Hello

I bought some rear seat covers today at MITP to match my front cobra classics. The back seat at the moments is just a gray cloth thing...velor? out of a mayfair.

Do I need to remove the gray or can I put the new one over it? and also ...how do i do that?

Thanks

when i did mine, i took the cover of the upright part, because i needed the clips from it to put the new 1 on, and then put the one on the botton over the top of the old one, and staple gunned it in place!

First, on the top half, you need to remove all the clips from the rear. I used a flat head screwdriver.

After you've done that you reattach the new one with the reverse method. Using some glue on the foam of the seat to keep the seat cover from flopping.

For the bottom one, you need to simply pull the old cover off, leaving only the foam and a small piece of hardboard.

Attach the new cover with some glue, pulling it tight as you can, and then using a staple gun (a high powered one), secure the front by stapling the vynil to the hardboard.

Best of luck
