I had the new issue of Evo magazine land on my doormat yesterday and in it they have a countdown of the 100 greatest drivers cars. Naturally I had to have a look for the mini after reading the tag line 'will yours be on the list?'
Now I didn't expect to see a '89 Mayfair (and didn't) but would settle for any classic mini and guess what. No. 67 on the list Mini Cooper S. Exactly 9 places higher than the New Mini Cooper S at no. 76.
Get in.
It beat amongst other things

Ferrari F355 and 612
Aston Vanquish S
Bugatti EB110 and VEYRON!!
Ford Sierra and Escort Cossie
Jag XJ220
Lancia Intergrale
Audi Quattro
Porsche 959
MCLAREN F1!!
and the Koenigsegg CCX

Not bad, don't think I'll bother saving for a Veyron anymore, think I'll spend the moneys on a set of 10inch wheels instead!

Just thought I'd let you guys know.

Although I haven't read all the article yet so please don't spoil it for me just yet as to the greatest. Gotta go pub first....

Haha thats cool i was reading one yesterday and the mini was similarly place, although i think this was top 50. I didnt buy it because it was £8 and the mini was on a 4 page spread shared with a fiat 500 arbath but maybe il buy it soon.

According to a guy on the pistonheads forum the top 10 is;
