Lovely looking mini you have got there

Just got back from working on the *Female doggy*. Half of it is in primer, 3 holes have been patched up and the hole for the bulkhead box is all cut!!!

Kind of having to hold up now due to me being thick and leaving my replacment sub frame at work and needing some engine mounts.

Shes starting to take shape, and i cant wait to get back in her and give it a good caning!!!

i'l get some pics tomorrow. Unfortunatly due to a magazine photoshoot with the other car, i cant work on her... but i have to nip over to me garage to charge up my battery for my hydraulics so i'l take a couple of pics then! lol

Yes I am spraying it out of rattle cans, and yes i should know better... but its coming up bloody good! Plenty good enough for the track anyways

Shes on her last legs now, or at least before she needs a good haul over, but, plenty more trackdays to come!!! lol

Nothing wrong with rattle cans. show class jobs are achievable with them if you spend the time on it.

loving the pickup mate, i plan to keep an eye on this, check out mine lol

i more of a styling person but paint it with cans and have fast engine, who cares! its still great!

Bit of a thread revival!!!

This is the car I always wish I didnt sell, the one that got away! lol

Unfortunatly I never got round to finishing it due to work/ money and mainly my other car took priority!

I ended up selling it to a fella who lives local where it sat on his drive for a few years, and I believe he sold it some time last year on ebay...

Anyone from here buy it?

Would be great to see if it still lives on?!

Surely it was too rare to be scrapped!! I'm convinced its sat under a tarp somewhere on someone drive waiting to be restored!!

Not sure were to look for i, just asking on forums and posting the best pictures you can I guess.

 

I know a guy who's recently found his old mini he did up to a high spec with his dad when he was younger, safe to say he's selling his R1 mini project becase he has such a deep love for it.
