^^^^ beat me to it.

the dial faces come with extra wires which connect into a transformer which then gets connected to the wire that deals with the illumination on the standrad dials

Gonzo - I've just noticed you're in Sutton Coldfield.

Get in touch with MarsRedMike on the forum because he has those light up jobs fitted in one of his Minis.
I know he'd be happy for you to drop round and see them in action after dark - I've seen them and personally don't like
them - but - aside from trying blatantly to plug my own gauges you might still love them.

I reckon it's worth a trip to "Bodge Speed Racing" (his front drive and shed) to having a look them "in combat" before you shell out
your hard earned because pictures can't really show what they're like. They do light up but not like a "modern" car as you might expect
from the promo material.
