popping and banging is caused by unburnt fuel in the exhaust. which isnt necessarily a good thing.

mini pops and bangs but thats because my zorst is blowing on the manifold, it sounds great especially when i slow down to traffic lights, but there are occasions when inside the car stinks of fumes

Like simong6, mine pops and bangs and garggles on engine braking because its blowing at the centre pipe!! It sounds quite cool but then you start to think what kinda damage your doing to your engine!
If you don't want do what Dox Matrix suggested :saywhat: knock a few holes in your centre pipe and when you've had your fun, get yourself a new zorst!! (I am joking by the way!!! ) :cheese:

A 3-1 manifols and cut the back box in half that always works on bikes,
mine used to pop and bang all the time it even used to spit flames if i let of over 11,000rpm in first or second

I assume you are reffering to the bike :wink:mine used to pop and bang all the time it even used to spit flames if i let of over 11,000rpm in first or second
You could hav a 3-1 manifold and just a straight through pipe, then go around twn back firing the engine
Better still get a flame kit!!!

Mine has a bit of rally style popping on engine breaking, got a dodgy connection somewhere so it cuts out some times, when i restart it i can get shotgun like sounds scared a bunch of students out side the pub the other day! hee hee
But it does pop on slowing i'm running a metro 1275 with a standard metro manifold straight through to a nice fat twin DTM. And it does it more since it was tuned, i also know when it was tuned it was leaned off.

my girlfriend has a DTM on her spi and that really pops on the overrun especially at motorway speeds, mine is an spi with single box rc40 and you get a few pops on the overrun as well, nothing like as loud as with the DTM though
