why bother with an old tech that's not a particularly effective solution - try this - pop down to your local scrappers and find a late model mk3 golf, vento. early skoda octavia's etc - you get the idea (possibly mk4 golf, bora's too) - you're looking for something with no external aerial - VAG circa 95-00 didn't use in screen aerials in the wiring for the radio you'll find an easily spotted module - plastic covered about 2" long - chop out all the stereo wiring & fit to your mini - job done for a couple of quid - and dependant on what age mini you've got you'll have everything to fit "modern" stereo....

hi there , my old man had the arieal / heated rear window thingy on his rover 820se hatchback, was on a G plate , the relay bit did go up the shoot and did cost near £100 then from rover - that was about 15 years ago now ...you may find one in a scappy if your lucky , think it was fitted in the boot on the passenger side .

I found an antenna Module thing stuck to the inside of one of the Rear Bins, think i might keep it.

Most 80`s-90`s ford saloons had these....Orion, Sierra, Granada etc. Simple to wire up too.

Could you not just nab the OEM one and hide it under the headliner?
£0 FTW
