Model: Austin Mini Mayfair
Year: 1989
Description of problem (please be as in depth as possible): My back left tyre is flat and not sure what tyre pressure it should have, the tyres are "165/60r12", any ideas on the PSi?

Thanks guys, Mike.

i use 30 all round on mine with the same size tyres.

But it's different for each car - and the tyre usually indicates it's maximum Psi.... This is why one user inflated his tyres to 40psi (because he looked at tyre spec, not the car spec) and wondered why he was getting odd amounts of wear and terrible understeer...

For balanced pressures you need to take the weight of the engine etc into account - this is why there should be an extra 2 pound on the front to cope with the weight....

is this still true on a mini if you carry people in the back often?
