Speed is dangerous anyway. Last year I went in my Dolomite. Which had just the right amount of power/grip/brakes to be safe enough on it's limit. This year the car I'm taking is more powerful and the power/grip/brakes ratio is worrying me

Not had a good weekend. Need to change head gasket on one bank, meaning engine out job. Will change the cams at the same time. Been replacing and rebuilding the brakes over the last couple of weeks, one bleed screw snapped tonight. Trying to drill it out but will probably have to replace the caliper. One engine mount bracket has a FUBAR'd screw meaning it can't come off, meaning engine can't come out. Need two new rear tyres. MOT in 10 days.

I've been spending like crazy getting all the things i could possibly ever need. wont be able to start packing until I go home to the mini on friday!

SO excited now. the trip starts 1 week today for me, as I've got to get up from kernow the day before
