blimey this is creeping up on us fast guys! I'm sure it was only a few weeks ago it was jan and we were waiting for the applications to open!

pay day on friday so i can finally order all the bits I need to get mini in top shape for the trip.

For me, the adventure starts in just under 3 weeks, as I'm heading home on the friday night, for 3 days last minute work before heading up to Brands the night before we meet!

Also pay day on Friday. I get the feeling I'm going to run out of money rather quickly

Having to make savage cuts on things I was going to buy. Gutted tbf.
Get paid like 3 days after we are back. which is a complete pain because I need the money before not after.

But on the up side. Other than a few odd screws, bolts, oil and spark plugs the car is ready. Not as ready as I wanted it to be (still running on steels  and a half finished interior) but it will do :(
I just hope 5th gear does me proud and cuts fuel costs down a fair bit. + the lack of a passenger means lack of roof storage thus less drag

I'm absolutly useless. I'm nowhere near finished with the Scimitar that I was originally bringing, the Dolomite that was to replace the Scimitar is not in good enough health to make the trip so I'm stuck with my daily '94 bland wagon. And even that needs a fair amount of work to be ready in time. What a shambles

Cars all ready but I'm not! Anyone want to buy a kidney so I can afford the petrol? If not I'll e-bay the kidney or a slice of liver, shame I'm too old to be a surrogate womb that'd be worth a bit of money lol!
