Haha well lets hope i get a miracle. I think i should be able to get it done in time, aslong as i can get parts through in time and have the funds to finish it, but when rushing to get things done in time, it means im paying top money for all the parts.

I think ill be able to get it done though.

I sadly given up on bringing my mini, this will be there first time in 5 years...i´ll just be bringing the family van...the mini is close to its end, needs a new subframe, shocks, and a MOT!! but she will be back....after a good 2000€

I admire all your dedication though, you lot must be rolling in money to get your minis finished...

Ive been told it only takes a couple of weeks from when you send it off. Dont take it as gospel though.

If its not, 3 weeks (I think)

It was my 1st, has taken about 4 weeks (came a few days after I had the interview that you've gotta have)

Yea i know what your saying, iv got to keep saving to finish the Clubman estate in the first place then iv got to save for fuel, laps and booz!!!

Well the project mini has been put on hold until after the Ring so that definitely wont be back together.

I didnt want to take my red mini this year, but it looks like I will have to. Its going in for a new clutch and welding to be done mid-August, and hopefully a new carpet and general tidy up. I would give it a go (well, the clutch anyway) but I just dont have the time. It might be a little cosmetically worse for wear though which sucks.

I might be going down again before then, so I might strategically place another faster car down there to do the laps. I can get a 5 series BMW for 300 euros, but it needs a new front shock. How hard can it be?

I cant wait to go. I've just started seeing a girl who finds it highly amusing that a group of people from an internet site were going camping together for a week to drive around a big loop that you have to pay 20 euros for. Some people will never understand. I did say she was more than welcome to come but she politely declined.
