Not sure, my old man just said he got it off eBay!

:dontgetit:

:- We live and learn... I've only got the bonnet and boot left now .

Is that paint still useable? The colour didn't have an expiry on, but the primer did and we was well within that.

Paint does go off and can get contaminated if stored incorrectly.

Maybe worth getting a 1/2 litre of fresh paint and use it to give a nice top coat to the stuff you've already put on.

If i get motivated enough I may well do that to be honest. Clean the *melon* out, tidy everything up and a fresh tin of paint for a final coat, and see what happens.

God i hate spraying

I hate it as well, its a black art that I've never really mastered. Takes wayyy too long to even get stuff 1/2 decent, I'm cheating with Paddy and am gonna send him off to be painted!!

Just had a read through, I do love a minus! Don't lose heart, you know it'll be worth it when you get to say -

'Yeah baby, did it all myself. What's that? You'll go to bed with me as a result? Yes, I thought as much.'

Loving the orange too, hopefully a blowover with some fresh paint and a flat and polish and it'll be like a mirror. You still gong to use the 1380, or are you going to go with one of the conversions talked about eariler in the thread?

Good luck mate.

One way or another we will get this done. I hate spraying with a passion, thats why its taking so long!. Soon as its sprayed up with reasonable results, then we will be cooking on gas!!

1380 for the bit. Maybe when that gets a bit boring we might look into a pro-mo conversion or something. Should be over there next weekend spraying again. Just finished with the compressor over the house today :teehee:

Thanks for the kind words!
