bump started it to get to the chinese because i was that hungry.

new solenoid should be here 2mz so no more bump starting

nothing on the mini itself but today I spent my day sorting out some argon/CO2 gas for my welder and then spent the afternoon teaching myself to weld so i can attempt to put my poor 'PercyMimi' back together

removed old 998 engine from sons mini today
tomorrow i get to fit his new 4 pot brakes and hoses and clean every thing ready for new 1330 engine

Checked Front Tire Pressures. (28.3left & 28.6right) Couldnt be bothered with the rear, t'was raining

19 and always at work or out so daddy has to fix it

Today I:

I started to make a new switch panel.
Chipped some paint off with a torch while trying to work out how to drain the rad.
Repaired the chip.
Tripped on the spare wheel.
Fitted the heater air feed pipe thing.
Practiced welding.
Melted the welding tip threaded bit.
Polished my chrome bits and dusted if off as i do every day.
Masked up the wind screen hole and bit arround the scuttle ready for painting.
Reconected the battery.
Made some earth leads for the relays.

and some other stuff.

I took my passenger side doorcard off to try and see if I could tell where the leak was coming from. I'm thinking that maybe my door is out of line so I'm going to have to try and work out whether it's adjustable or not and how!!!! Was going to do my rear window rubbers but it started to rain Also cancelled my carpet until I have solved my leak problem what a S$$T day!!!

Simply, sold it!
Well sold one of them anyways. Patches the luminous orange Mini will no longer be in my posession mid next week! But then I'll have more money to spend on my new project, the Clubby!
Still got the '72 up for sale though! Would someone like to make my day and buy that one too?
