I went down to the garage and asked Huey how he was feeling. I slid the windows on the driver's door open a bit so he could breathe better. I shut the door a few times more to hear the nice clunk instead of the hollow clang he used to make before I put the soundproofing in. I checked to see how shiny he is and that he's not dripping oil underneath.

I have conjunctivitis and the squidgy stuff I have to put in my eyes means I can't see well enough to actually drive him yet :D

Ordered a super 2 core rad, a deep impellor water pump and a water pump gasket off of mini spares. Then went outside and removed old radiator, water pump and all the other bits that seemed to be bolted onto the radiator/water pump.

Got the lambda sensor out, without taking half the car apart, a right pain in the bum that was,not to be recommended if you wanted to reuse the sensor again!!!!

i waxoiled the whole underside and rear subby on my 1275 GT clubby project, fillered some wee dinks, skimmed the front panel because it was badly stone chipped and the got the electric sander out.
also skimmed the edges of the steel sunroof because they were a bit untidy looking. test fitted my arches, put on the track rod ends and fitted my tmporary steering wheel (mole grips).
also debumpered the back...it's smoooth.

oh...need to join the clubman register  ^^^^^^

Have fitted my new door rubbers which arrived yesterday hoping that would cure the problem I have with a leak on the passenger side but it hasn't   >_< so it's back to the drawing board for me.

Tried to get the bottom hose off my rad, just for a flush thru. After much faff getting and removing the jubilee clip found the rubber to be pretty much welded on, seeing as I don't have a spare bottom hose put the jubilee clip back on.

Leave that one for another day me thinks, oh and found the bolts holding the top bracket are solid so my need some persuading too
