Removed the wiper motor and wheelboxes for a clean and re-grease, in a attempt to improve their performance on dry glass. Nice and clean now but still sticks after an inch :)

off topic doh but is there a conversion or alternative wiper motor system for our minis?

I believe TVR Chimera's and possibly Cerberas use the same type of wiper motor, the Mini one is a 14 watt one but the TVR ones are apparently a 21 watt motor so might be a bit stronger/smother?

Problem is, trying to find one to double check!

*Edit, some TVR's use a 29 watt motor, not 21

Well I went out and cleaned the inside of Molly this afternoon so she is now sparkling inside as well and while I was out there I thought I would check the tyre pressure on the passenger front wheel and it's gone down since yesterday so it looks like I'll be going to the tyre place after all

Well I Brought a 1974 Mini 1000 Van with a 1275gt engine the beginning of the weeks, so over the week we've stripped it of all the crapet and removed the bonnet. Today we started stripping the bonnet, using Nitromors paint stripper, then a wire brush, am electric sander and then when we were back to the metal etch primed it and then quickly chucked a bit of grey primer over it just for now. Needs a couple of dent beaten out and a very small patch of welding to de-badge it which is hopefully gonna be done this coming week.

Then to repeat the whole process again!

Finished fitting new water pump and radiator, possibly the easiest car I've ever had to bleed! quite pleased with myself as I was going to pay a mechanic to do it as 'I couldn't be arsed' last week.

Today I will be mostly putting Vernon's new gearknob on.

Then I might sit back and have a cuppa tea admiring my handywork :)

Well that's my hard work done for the day :P

Today, I've took my mini to hospital! Time for new sills, the originals are a bit worse for wear after 12 years of hard graft!
If it was left any longer, think it would have neded up like the Flinstones car.
