Sorry, was in reply to 90quid labour on a clutch... Although that did include the part at £90.


A clutch plate is about £20...
Oh, hang on - you've got an AUTO. Scratch that.

No, this is on a manual. Plates are about £20, the full kit is around 90 if you include thrust release bearing, pressure plate etc.

today i have drove her to work, i will be driving her home in about a hour and half then i think i mite clean it. noticed this morning she was looking a bit dirty.

Tried fixing the electrics on him this morning but its to dark ......... BUT it usually is, when your heads up your arse!!!

Todays jobs are to clean up and respray the sills and the join where the rear scuttle attaches to the body, and get some body filler and try and clean up my front bumper so its nice and smooth after removing the front bumper bracket and number plate things. :D

I'm getting the AP racing replacement kit from minispares, with the plate, pressure plate and Thrust release bearing and all that jazz...
Looking forward to being able to go up hills...

Refitted the heater valve (again!) and finally got around to putting a second bolt in the top engine steady.

Still havn't attacked the rust on the front end :D Not looking foward to it either...

today Pealed away my horible cream vynle roof and rubbed all the sticky contact adehsive off (Horrible stuff) and assesed the paint underneath looks like alot of filler flating and spraying :D in Black


oh and test fitted both of my 12" subs on the back seat bench think im gona be bouncing down the road.................or just Death

This morning I went and fetched my box of chrome goodies from the platers

When I got back home I sorted the parts out and found that I was two parts short, being two wiper motor plates so I had to go back to the platers and sort that out. First job was this

a chrome accelerator pedal

I have actually got two of these exactly the same so if anyone wants the other one it is for sale, identical to the one pictured.

rubbed the rear quarter down to bare metal and primed it! coming along a treat!

Just out of curiosity what sort of price does chroming stuff like that come to? might get some brackets/steadies done myself
