removed my top dash rail with out taking the screen out:)

Wheels given a thorough clean for first time in god knows when.. shocked about the colour change after scrubbing that caked on brake dust. Refitted speakers and car stereo for when I get bored of listening to the exhaust noise & gearbox whine. It may happen.. Cleaned a serious amount of oily keech off the headlining with white spirit. Why didn't I think of using that before?

In my continued efforts to reduce fuel consumption, adjusted points gap to 15 thou as it said in Haynes.. Will need to get hold of a timing gun to check the timing is ok. After a long drive test, plugs 1 and 4 seem ok (brown) but 2 & 3 blacker. All four were black before the adjustment.. Carb reservoir is leaking a little fuel (seepage) but I guess this is down to the fact there's a screw missing..

Fixed grill surround that had fallen off with some no expense spared salvage bits and better fitting screws., and polished up.. certainly a lot less painful to look at now!

Now there must have been an important thing was I avoiding doing, that the car got a lot of my attention today?

Fitted a new fuel filter,got fuel in my mouth and over my hair, never mind all good fun!!!!

Been trying to split the seams for a new rear quarter panel to go in

I chopped ruby up xd, found lots of rust (its lighter than carbon fibre you know )

will be replacing it all soon, not this week though as im busy.

Thorough wash and polish and all seats vaxxed. ^^

Now have a lovely, shiny-clean Monty to show off in tomorrow.

bought some new chrome wing mirrors for minims after some idiot in brighton kicked one of my plastic ones off! though i planned on getting them anyway, so i guess they just gave me reason to do it now!

also bought some new ignition leads and spark plugs in an attempt to help him in the rain, hes not enjoying it! going to try the holts damp start spray and a marigold too!

I finally fitted my rear arches and lowered the car a bit more. Still need to fill and paint the sportpack holes though.

Temporary repair with cable ties, until I get my new front. - Going to order a TDK one, as I hear they're good?
Also bent a tie bar, and dented a wheel. Should be able to bend those back, and do the tracking at work.

Gutted though.
