so far this week i have chopped the fairly bashed up front end off, trimmed the inner wings, painted and waxoyled the arches, sills, and floor, fitted some brace bars, trimmed up and trial fitted a fibreglass 2 piece front end, made some hinges and brackets for it, changed 2 front hi los (didnt know they can bend so easily - its got coil springs fitted and it looks like they have virtually no travel in them and driving down rough country lanes every day doesnt help), changed the brake pads. today i changed the rear arches for some nice group 2's, stripped and rebuilt the rear brakes and bled the brake lines. also modified the throttle body by trimming the metal stop down a bit so it now opens all the way, should make a small difference.
tomorrow ive got to fit the front end properly, wire up the lights, fit the group 2 arches to the front and give it a clean. and then take it for a spin, and realise ive forgotten to do something! :)

Soundproofed the bulkhead a bit, then went for some petrol, scratched my head for about 15mins wondering why it was running like a bag of hammers, turns out i'd knocked one of the vacum/breather pipes off the carb when re-fitting the airbox, gave the car a quick once over too.

I set about finding out how to get my sidelights to work as they kept poping fuse's found that some one had tryed soldering a relay and it was shorting where they had done a bodge job of it. I then put everything as they were other than the relay. and gave it a wash but wasnt verry good i mised a few bits :)

Finished fitting my KADs and the BWAs that I've had sitting around for 18 months and found that one of the manifold heater pipes is rotten.

Also ripped open the flexi on my exhaust driving out of work so now it sounds like a tractor >:P
