Painted the centres of my 7.5" discs and new flanges only to realise that Minispares have sent me one flange with no spline at all GRRRRRRRRRRR not happy as I've already had to put my car off the road waiting for new flanges and now I'm cutting it bloody fine for its duties next week.

Then cleaned, primed and painted my thermostat housing and sandwich plate as the new radiator I fitted last week has made me want to tidy the manky engine bay up.

Well I did'nt exactly do work on my mini today but I did pick up a nice mini Mini trailer for it and drive it the 250miles home from Plymouth. Didnt see many other mini's on the road but lots of old bangers taking part in the mongul rally.

That's a very sexy trailer.

Today I finally got around to pulling the engine and front subframe from my car, primed the boot lid, finished coating the rear subframe/mount pieces and painted some other odds and ends. (will post some pics to rebuild thread tomorrow)

i fitted some shiney new braided brake and clutch hoses from the master cylinders  gave it a bit of a tidy all round.

Fixed my windscreen wiper problem too! some how it has sort of eaten its self and snapped off the long line that goes forward and back to move the wipers, so my friend welded it back on! :(

sorted... if some what bodged, but if it works... whos complaining eh???

Well I finally fitted my new rear quarter window seals today and I tried to find out where the leak is coming from on my passenger side and I think it might be the rubber/seal around the door hinge so now I am trying to find what I need on the internet so fingers crossed it's that if it's not it's back to the drawing board again. :) :P  :)

Spent most of my day at work fitting my new Maniflow LCB manifold, just to then find out that I've blown the headgasket, possibly on my way to work, and it won't start!
Got towed from work to my mate's house, by his 998 Mini, through town which was fun... Tow rope caught the fibreglass front lip and ripped a hole in it, so I'll trim it all down soon. Shame, I quite liked the big lip it had!

Silly me... Silly Mini.

Took the underseal crap out of the passenger well, not the original stuff, got rid of that last time. This is the waxoyl type stuff I put down thinking it was a good idea, well it reacted badly so out it came. Now after taking the floor to shiny metal, had a first coat of primer, ready for a second coat tomorrow.
