i have a 1275 A+ engine with a verto type clutch and was wondering if you can put the clutch back in without a clutch alignment tool? and if so when the clutch is in is there an easy way of making shore you have done it right before you start the car ?

would someone please walk me though doing this so i dont get it wrong!

Plate sits on the primary gear - so it's automatically aligned. Nothing else required. Simples !

I place everything back on loosely, then torque up the pressure plate bolts and centre bolt.
