The stretched tyres arnt too small diameterwise just on width
tyres these days have incredibly strong sidewalls also when you run higher pressure in your tyres they seem fine
if you want to see dangerous check out some off the extreme ones on the website
im running pirelli p7000 165x55x13 and they seem fine

i love it as im the only one i know off running stretch on a mini

as said many vw run stretch tyres, cause if u aint rubbing you not DUBBING.

Doesnt look so cool when your going down the road "slammed" on the deck with brakes hanging off

They look cool yeh, but i wouldnt run them on the road, rather be safe then sorry...
