i have bought a eaton m45 from a bmw mini it has down really low mileage and i am now after the manifolds a hif44 carb and i would like to know do i need the metro turbo carb as i dont want to be running blow through i would prefer suck and keep everything basic and neat.
also am i right in thinking that to complete my kit i need
supercharger manifold,
carb manifold
hif44 carb
airfilter
longer choke and throttle cables
belt
belt tensioner
and the bottom pulley
also what size bottom pulley do i need. as i was told this is highly influenced as i am running it with a 998
could anyone also tell my compression ration? its a standard 998cc City engine but with a stage one fitted
thank you

supercharger manifold and
carb manifold £250
hif44 carb £20
airfilter £20
longer choke and throttle cables £14
belt £10
belt tensioner £60
and the bottom pulley
decommpression plate £40-100 or if you want dished pistons you will be adding alot of costs
prices are really second hand or from garages the £60 for tensioner is vmax anyone no cheaper?

well would it be best to increase the top pulley size or the bottom also do i need to do this because it would be making to much psi?
what sort of compression should i be aiming at? same as a turbo?
Are you talking about a 998? If you are, the bottom pully should really stay the same, and you should also really increase the size of the top pully so it doesn't spin as fast.
On mine I'm aiming for 8.5 - 9 CR at about 8psi.
I also got my supercharger kit for £875 brand new
