Just a note for all those after white diamond ( code NMN ),this is neither a leyland or austin colour but a rover colour.
THAT IS NOT TRUE!
there are two different white diamonds, or diamond whites.
Rover white diamond is paint code NMZ.
NMN is a different shade. (slightly whiter)

i pm'd matt that, but he was specifically told it was car paint and that the guy used to be part time sprayer for leyland (and nicked the paint
)
Fair enough just thought I'd mention it before everyone got too excited!!
The other question is how old is the paint?
Paint doesn't last forever and has a lifespan.

White diamond,code NMN ( BLVC655 ) years 85 to 93
Old english white,code NNX ( BLVC1205 ) years 98 to 01
White diamond 2,code NAL ( BLVC1218 ) years 90 to 99
all ROVER colours strangely enough!
( source www.minicolours.co.uk )

Burnard, you really need to get your facts right, after some more research,
White diamond,code NMN ( BLVC655 ) years 85 to 93
Old english white,code NNX ( BLVC1205 ) years 98 to 01
White diamond 2,code NAL ( BLVC1218 ) years 90 to 99
all ROVER colours strangely enough!

NMN WHITE DIAMOND ( rover ) is even on the TMF colour guide should you wish to look yourself!
thats twice halfords have lied to me then, (basterds)
The white diamond that they sell in there store is NMZ, checked this with the manufacturer, they used to produce an austin NMN, which is what i had mixed up for me in the store which is a perfect match.
According to this manufacturer there is also a rover NMN and they switched them over in the late 80's early 90's, but no longer produce this because no one bought it (dont know why). so now they only make the NMZ labled a rover white diamond.
if that is wrong again, blame halfords, ive had enough of them *melonsing* me about and wasting my time with paint!
