It is probably not too critical exactly how much grease you put in but far too little and the joint will fail, too much and it will pop the boot off and spray everywhere.

Why not go to a parts shop sometime when you are passing and ask for an inner boot kit, have a skeet in the box for the grease sachet and then you will know roughly whats needed, Then say "I am not sure its the right one" and they will put it back on the shelf.

Alternatively the unipart parts place over here has sachets of CV joint grease in stock which should be about right.

If it's any help - the Sachets of grease that come in the CV boot kits from my local factors hold about 2 table spoons worth.

It will usually not be a full sachet, the sachets are universal and a Mini has small joints. A dry pot joint needs 50cc of grease, if there's some still in place then just use enough to top it up to around that level. The late CV joints use 30cc, I don't know whether the smaller early CV joints use less.
