forgot to mention what happened on the sunday, got all the last bits back together and it fired up after half a revolution, LOL.

nice tidy alternator

nice tidy engine bay.
Fixed the expansion tank by putting a little sleeve in and epoxying it, itll do for the time being until i find something a little bit tidier for it. Surely a tig welded aluminium one should be worth atleast 20bhp? lol.
got a few jobs done this weekend too (well, sunday). Got the sidelights working, just needed to spray out the pins on the caravan connector a bit, lots of swearing and hitting things working it out until dad walked past and just said 'widen those pins' lol. Hate it when that happens. Anyway they work a treat now. Also gave it a big old clean out so is nice inside and out, you cant polish a turd but you can roll it in glitter. Finally i fixed the leakey exhaust by actually putting a clamp on it, problem solved!
Because my MOT would expire on the 5th i decided to take it in for a test (i had a presentation in sheffield to do so had to get my dad to drive it) and SUCCESS! ITS PASSED!!! no advisories ofcourse =p
next jobs are to helicoil a knackered thread for the cam cover, and PTFE the oil pressure sender and thats it!
